Trees for Harmony is a living memorial to the spirit of Harmony Mosier, who lived her entire life in the Coronado Historic District before leaving her body on May 2nd, 2018 at the age of 9 years, 8 months.
Fighting cancer for more than two years, Harmony brought out the very best in the neighborhood and community, which has been inspired by her heart, her humor, her artistic expression, her courage and her spirit, her lust for life– all traits that describe the neighborhood which loved and nourished her.
Trees for Harmony is dedicated to putting trees in the ground, lining the streets of Coronado and the sidewalks Harmony walked, where her presence is still strongly felt.
It is also about beautification, reducing temperatures, and building community around the symbol of a girl who brought out the best in the community, reminding us what lovely humans we can be.
Let’s make a more beautiful neighborhood for the future children of Coronado, and all who travel its sidewalks.
Start by planting a few trees in your own yard.
Already have trees? You can donate a tree (or two!) to a home (or sidewalk) that needs some shade.
